Managing Director and Principal Consultant

Having founded Foxton Consulting in 2018 to deliver business-aligned IT solutions in accordance with industry-recognised best practice, Lucas is a highly-experienced, outcomes-driven business and technology consultant with over two decades of experience servicing both private and public sector clients across various sectors within Australia and internationally.

He has built a strong reputation for delivering complex, large-scale outcomes for clients including the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS), the Australian Government Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA), the Australian Government Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA), BAE Systems, Bunnings, CSIRO, the Australian Government National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA), Telstra, Optus, SEEK, the United Nations and Wesfarmers OneDigital.

He possesses extensive experience employing Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure and other private, public and hybrid cloud capability to meet clients' specified needs, and has led the delivery of numerous mission-critical systems within these envrionments.

Acknowledged for his ability to bridge business and technology, Lucas combines strong analytical capability with a focus on practical, customer-oriented delivery. He is also widely recognised for leadership in agile delivery and IT service management utilising Scrum, Kanban, SAFe and ITIL, and is a certified specialist in the administration, implementation, integration and migration of Atlassian products.

Sarah Riches

Principal Consultant

A values-driven executive leader and Board Chair, Sarah has dedicated more than twenty years of her career to delivering both large-scale and targeted initiatives across various sectors, including membership organisations, peak bodies, early childhood, allied health, disability and community services. She has successfully led complex programs, including several multi-million-dollar initiatives, while also having driven smaller, high-impact projects that require agility, precision and strong stakeholder alignment.

She is recognised for her ability to lead high-performing, multidisciplinary teams through periods of change, consistently aligning project outcomes with organisational strategy and the needs of the communities that her clients serve. She possesses deep expertise across the full project lifecycle, from strategic planning and resource allocation through to delivery, evaluation and continuous improvement. Her capabilities extend to membership growth, stakeholder engagement, governance, budgeting and risk management, and are underpinned by a strong focus on sustainable practices and delivery of long-term organisational value.
